i wish meme wasn’t a word

or, i wish, that like the WORD, it could be made flesh.  regardless, here’s my version of this (or rather, that):

1. all recorded moving images count as movies (which, of course, includes every video on america’s funniest videos and all the videos that where never submitted to afv)

2. people in movies are ghosts (as in disembodied apparitions)

3. i love movies with animal actors (especially chimp actors and, extra-especially, chimp actors who smoke cigarettes on screen)

4 after animal actors, i like non-professional actors best (like, joe dallesandro)

5. i use to think star wars was the best sci-fi movie until i saw dark star

6. i like movies about tv (specifically videodrome, robocop and the fabulous stains)

7. shorter movies are almost always better

8. 80s american cinema is grossly under-rated, way better than all that bullshit all those “rebels” made in the 60s and 70s (but i do love cassavettes)

9. movies are the only god i believe in

and 10. thank god for musicals

  1. I seriously LOVE Joe Dallesandro. Tell me you’ve seen Flesh for Frankenstein.

i love flesh for frankenstein. it’s easily my favorite frankenstein movie (with abbot and costello meets frankenstein being a distant second), which would obviously make it one of my favorite movies.

Agreed. Clint’s chimp cinema classics are some of his best.

is clint a chimp? or are you talking about clint eastwood? because i think the chips always steal the show, even when clint is on screen with them.
