I'm on the other side of the tracks: I loved this movie, found it really moving, &c--though I do mostly agree with you in a critical sense. I'm also biased as hell, since I definitely have a slight fetish for Russian history and culture. (I'm a dork.) I'm also glad you said it's "not boring enough." Well played. Well fucking played.
